The PATTERN collection is a series of mirror graphic abstractions that capture the beauty of colors and textures found in nature, enclosed in a round mirror shape.

The DUNE mirror has a unique drawing inspired by the dynamics of the dunes of the Curonian Spit.

It perfectly fits into subdued, monochrome, minimalist interiors. It impresses with its subtlety. It is an ideal piece of equipment for people who appreciate simplicity, naturalness, and originality in the decor of their homes. DUNE allows you to feel the harmony of nature, even in the middle of the city.

The silver pouring technique was invented back in 1835. It allows a thin layer of silver to be applied to obtain a mirror from a pane of silvered glass.

The graphic structure of the DUNE mirror is created during the silver pouring stage.

The process of silver pouring and the subsequent stages of tarnishing are hand-made and controlled mainly by manual skills and knowledge of the technique. The remaining steps are left to chance, the sum of physical and chemical phenomena that occur precisely when the silver settles on the glass.

Each of our mirrors is unique.

It is a signed craft item with an individual, unique design. Due to the handmade technique used, it is impossible to replicate the decor pattern accurately.

Technique

Handcrafted in the technique of silver pouring on 4 mm-thick clear Pilkington Optiwhite™ glass. The back of the mirror is specially varnished, painted, and coated with protective foil. The mirror is glued to a mass-colored, waterproof chipboard with a diameter 10 cm smaller than the mirror - the board's edge recedes 5 cm about the mirror edge. A suspension hook is embedded in the board.

Mirrors are made to order.

Each mirror in the series differs from the others and the one presented in the photo. The size, shape, type, and color of glass, as well as the type of finish and decor, are constant. Each time, raw, transparent glass is silvered and decorated based on the features of a given series. The product is packed in a plywood box. A mounting pin is included.
