GOOD DESIGN 2023

We are excited to announce that we are participating in the final round of the Good Design Competition organized by the Industrial Design Institute in Warsaw. Some time ago, we submitted our SQUIGGLE BLUE mirror to the competition in the Craft category, showcasing the pouring silver technique as the main feature - a technique that is now almost forgotten, replaced by modern technologies in this field. We are thrilled to hear that it has made it to the finalist list! This is the second blue version of the SQUIGGLE mirror. This time, our focus was on the natural and non-obvious form of a silver layer that blends perfectly with the mirror's shape.

The mirror object was co-created with designer Marta Morawska-Omalecka and features a bold and openwork form. The finish emphasizes its lightness, showcasing the natural irregularity of the silver underlay, and a pop of energetic cobalt blue in the background. We would like to express our gratitude to the Honorable Jury for recognizing our product. This distinction is a testament to the high quality and innovation of our project. We are deeply honored to be among the finalists of many excellent projects.

The Good Design Competition, organized by the Institute of Industrial Design, is the oldest design competition in Poland and plays a crucial role in promoting well-designed products and services in the Polish market. For over three decades, the Institute has been awarding the emblem, demonstrating its continued commitment to highlighting the importance of aesthetics, functionality, and innovation in design.
