Colors have significant power! They serve many functions in human life, from expressing emotions and communicating to enhancing our creativity. They play an important role in our daily experience and influence our feelings and behavior. The COLOR collection was created to provide visual stimulation. We came up with the idea during a grey winter month with very little daylight, which made us crave colorful and joyful accents. The collection is minimalist yet sophisticated due to its irregular details and color accents.

The BLUE COB mirror creates a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere.

It brings balance to the room while also adding an elegant and modern decorative touch. The mirror is subtle yet eye-catching, making it a perfect addition for those who prefer simple, natural, and unique interior decor.

The mirror is created using the 19th-century silver pouring technique. This technique allows the creation of a thin layer of silver to make a mirror out of a pane of silvered glass. The method provides excellent opportunities for individual mirror design.

An irregular mirror surface with naturally obtained grays on soft, delicate edges illustrates the formation process, during which the silvering solution spreads on the glass surface.

Thanks to manual skills and knowledge of the technique, the shape of the mirror surface obtained on the glass can be primarily controlled. The rest is left to coincidence, the sum of physical and chemical phenomena occurring precisely when silver settles on the glass.

Each of our mirrors is unique.

It is a signed craft item with an individual, unique design. Due to the handmade technique used, it is impossible to replicate the decor pattern accurately.

Technique

Handcrafted in the technique of silver pouring on 4 mm-thick clear Pilkington Optiwhite™ glass. The back of the mirror is specially varnished, enameled, and coated with protective foil. The mirror is glued to a mass-colored, waterproof chipboard with a diameter 10 cm smaller than the mirror - the board's edge recedes 5 cm about the mirror edge. A suspension hook is embedded in the board.

Mirrors are made to order.

Each mirror in the series differs from the others and the one presented in the photo. The size, shape, type, and color of glass, as well as the type of finish and decor, are constant. Each time, raw, transparent glass is silvered and decorated based on the features of a given series. The product is packed in a plywood box. A mounting pin is included.
